Wisdom And Knowledge Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Wisdom And Knowledge

Rating: 5.0

Beauty touching interiorly on landscapes being separated
into many different poems.

Forming ingenious sections of wisdom and knowledge with
a hidden and mysterious prowess for the written word,
known as literature.

Coding everything so it will never be lost even when I am
no longer here on earth.

I like this very original approach to what a poem is - a creative definintion - a poem is an interior landscape made up of wisdom and knowledge. I remember my excitement as an adolescent when an English teacher taught the distinction between wisdom and knowledge and how they interact to make a whole mind. The fact that you see a poem as made up of both eliminates a lot of the confusion about the nature of poetry. Remember how Plato was going to expel poets from his utopian REPUBLIC because they lie, that is, they use language creatively, not literally and he didn't understand that. A man of wisdom with a blind spot. Well, your poems have already resolved that issue by affirming both knowledge and wisdom.
