Dark hallways are all around me
I see a light off in the distance, barely.
I look upon the walls covered in blood,
The thoughts race through my mind the smell of rotting wood
...

You have been there to listen to my frustration,
You let me spill my heart out onto the floor,
You help me pick up the pieces as I sit and feel lost.
Without your encouraging words I would be lost within my mind,

Dark Hallways

Dark hallways are all around me
I see a light off in the distance, barely.
I look upon the walls covered in blood,
The thoughts race through my mind the smell of rotting wood
I am pulled inside a room,
The door closes with a loud Boom!

Peering into the darkness what do I see?
Why it is nothing more than a picture of me.
Upon further investigation,
A moment to stare at my pale complexion,
I see the picture is a dark reflection.
This, this just cannot be

Stuck within these hallways
Which way do I go?
All is the remembrance of darkness always
Just let me be, let me go.

All that is true is lost in the shuffle,
I cannot seem to break free
Forever lost within the sea,
Of my mind and dark soul
