The Beat

My heart aches
With much pain
To the beat of the drum
Beat of sorrow, which cannot be changed
Sound's so hard
Feels like it's never going to end
It tells me something
'that it's hard to say bye'
From the horse's mouth it comes
Cant say bye
To people 6years gone
Leaned on each other
Like the spine to the skull
The head and the trunk

My heart aches
To see you go
Yet so much to say
Inexpressible minds
Still thinking of the best words
To put my thoughts right
Why?
A question in my mind
That is never answered
But a quick conclusion comes
That i have to ket you go
Nevertheless the killing pain
Go you will
With joyful hearts
Ironic to the beat of the drum..
