Asail we were in the open sea on a voyage far and wild
my love her chum and i were there we ate we drank and smiled
to a land so far we set asail, my eyes set on my girl
fair she was with ale brown eyes and in her neck she wore a pearl
she and her chum were mates so old from when they were two and three
together they played together they grew they skinned their hearts and skinned their knees
