I Was Dreaming

I live in a world with a peculiar setting
And I can't believe that I'm walking about
Through thick clouds of fog, as soft as white satin
They threaten to choke whenever I shout

Strange little world, this world I inhabit
Where I recall the future, and look for the past
And singing with silence has become an old habit
I hear it, I wake up, and then breathe in and I gasp
