My Unplanned Rose

Life was undecided, love was too.
I pondered everyday what to do with you.
I thought I was too young, I thought I wouldn't care.
Because if it happened I knew that my thoughts were clear.
He asked me to keep you my little rose, Oh! how I could not refuse.
I did sit, I did Cry and ask myself why..
But for the life Of me, I saw you and suddenly...life was bright.
No more indecisions or callus or fear.
I loved you. I had always loved you.
In that moment I swore to give you the life I never had.
The life you deserve, and I will spend the rest of my life making sure its a life you are happy with.
Don't fear my rose for you have thorns to protect you,
It's me, it's dad, it's gran it's you.
I love you little rose, thorns and all plus more.
