Ajpw Wiggan Poems

I'm scared of the world that surrounds me,
But most importantly of the people that enclose me.
Trapped and yet lost,
My hunger fills my pit of dark shame
...

A branch long and slender,
Claws away at the beak twilight.
The sirens screeching in the distance,
Momentarily growing louder.
...

Helpless, but not afraid.

Hold me,
Love me and protect me.
...

An empty wicked soul,
Sits upon my shoulder.
He lays beside me night and day.
He mocks my every existence.
...

The cracks in the surface,
The surface of my face.
Behind lovers eyes...
...

A tear escapes.
Wet, dry, wet.
A journey begins,
Like rain from a cloud of no meaning.
...

See me, see me.
See what I want you to see.

Stare long, Stare hard.
...

And though it was promised,
Saturated but calm.
There it appeared -
Disgust -
...

I will learn not to love
Rid me of what makes me human
Take it all - cleanse me clean
Exist in mind
...

Trapped

I'm scared of the world that surrounds me,
But most importantly of the people that enclose me.
Trapped and yet lost,
My hunger fills my pit of dark shame
For the life I have lived and the life I have yet to face.

Blood alone thicker than water,
love shared thinner than pride.
My soul empty like the ghost of a memory -
Forgotten.
And the air I breathe once inhaled,
Exhaled with her,
Never to exchange again.

Yours Aj
