I'm the mind of the message
The eye of the pen
The blood for the ink
Listening silenty, letting these emotions start to sink
Invoking you to think
Provoking the two sides to link
Choking out the fake
And letting in the new
You gotta elevate your thoughts
I go soul searching a lot
Wondering who I am
To better recognize yourself
Cuz if you don't know who you are
How can you expect that from someone else
Head held high hope to get lifted,
the pen and paper is my savor, best friend, n' god gifted,
life bleeds through a pen, oceans of emotions unravel n depicted,
In need of a friend, cuh'z the ones I once knew transitioned,
Postitioned in all of the fiction,
mentioned in all of the tensions,
lessons learned from all of the sessions, but never a blessin',
Window to the soul through my eyes lays a confession,
Anguish, sorrows n guilt remains dormant, really it's restin',
Wishing my wildest fantasies would start to commence n'
As I start to believe, the reality just sets in.....
