Sadness, anger, distress

The birds sing as they glide through the sky
The lone crow cries in the distance
I take note of it's pain, and continue on my way

The mother always humble, always there
With a smile that will last forever
No regret, no remorse, just there
To question or deny has never crossed her mind
...

The sound of rain hitting the cobbled streets
The quiet sound of rushed feet
The people now inside warming by the fire
As would I, my one true desire
...

Soft sway in the mighty oak
The leaves dancing in the breeze
This is the true life of trees
Their roots shooting down to soak
