Why do I say so little, when I want to say so much?
Three little words can make us think as such.
I always thought of you as bright, talented, well reserved.
And you were the first to call me beautiful, which was something I never thought I deserved.

We sing together in harmony,
Along with the stringed instruments of melody.
Following the commands of the conductor,
We sing to our Creator.

Three Little Words

Why do I say so little, when I want to say so much?
Three little words can make us think as such.
I always thought of you as bright, talented, well reserved.
And you were the first to call me beautiful, which was something I never thought I deserved.

It was you who changed my world when the flowers bloomed.
Then soon I had realized I poured my heart out to you.

Those three little words.
So soft, so sweet.
Those moments when we spoke about what was once our feelings made the color of rose come up into my cheeks.
Such sweet words, music to my ears like a song bird.

It pains me to say, I thought I had fallen for another.
And soon after we had parted,
I realized my heart could not possibly belong to any other.
Here we are months after.

Such sweet words that had so much meaning, so much depth.
Should never be spoken again.
How could I foresee that we were to take such a turn?
If only I could return to my past…would not regret and anguish be my stay.

How could I tell you, my dear sweet one, that I miss, oh to miss those days we've shared?

Am I weak? No.
A coward? Perhaps, to you how much I still want you. Long for you.
How can I tell you I care too much to let what we had go?
Folly, folly, it is to me.

Mayhap it'd be better for me to not say such things at all.
Lest things become more stale than they are.
Please know that if you were ever to love another.
It would wound me deeply.

Please keep me forever in your memory.

Three little words.
So soft and sweet.
Three little words.
As delicate as a Cherokee.

Three little words.
That mingles with the tears in my ink.
Three little words.
That seems so impossible to be spoken again.
Those three little words, I know I have to bid adieu.

Please, please know that I have always loved you.
