Pain

The world seems a better place without you,
always judging me.
You never say a word,
but I would've liked to know, sometime ago,
what it felt like to be free.

It's like you're a thunderstorm,
and I'm standing in the rain.
and you're laughing at me again,
I guess I should've known,
that you're so cold,
that you've got no soul.

And I'm standing on the pavement,
wondering why,
wondering why you said those words.
Why you said goodbye.
Because we both know that,
the pain is cutting me like a thousand stabbing knives,
'cause of all your lies.
And I have just realized,
that I have died inside.
