Dear Papa,

Dear Papa
I wish I knew what to say
I wish that I could see
You more now everyday
Things just don't seem be
The same. No one can say

Something to help us
We're just on some bus
That won't stop driving away from you
Are you so far away from us now
That we won't see in what seems
Like forever?

The tears just won't stop falling
Down our cheeks
If we could find a way to be
The same without you
We wouldn't be the same
Everyone says it'll get better

The only thing I wonder is
HOW?
Everyone says that you are
Home now and that you're happy.

The only thing I wonder is
WHY?
It doesn't make sense to me
It never has and probably never will

One of these days maybe
I'll see you again

Maybe I'll understand
Until then
I will always wish you were still
