Seeing my daddy off was always hard.
There were some shed tears,
But i always knew I could send him letters and cards.

I've always been shy and scared
But you taught me to laugh,
To have a good time and let loose,
And not to worry about what other people think of me

People believe God doesn't exist
They say and do what they want
Because the 'cant' resist
They're just opening themselves for satan to taunt

When we think we are in love,
And when we think everything is perfect,

In the arms of the one you love,
Gazing at the stars,

Looking back at her friends as she drives away
Because she has to move
