Seeing The World In Orange And Red And Deep, Deep Blues

This is my therapy
This is my right to see things in black and white
When we grow up
We no longer question what is right
And we see things in grey
And we simply play
Without thinking or doing what is ingrained
In our moral fiber

Its funny how will never evolve and simply quarrel
and not look at what is at stake
or who is involved
When did free thinking become a crime
In this land of the free

Visionaries who sought it through
and fought for both me and you
It feels good to be vindicated
but what is simply being born again
when you seem to be the only one seeing it
for what it really is in the end

I ate pennies at the street
to sell my beliefs
And it feels as if art has sold its soul
But I'm not the only one screaming this
or so I am told

If we just sat together
and simply talked about solutions
Maybe justice could win
Where is honor when those are long forgotten
Am I only fooling myself again

I will never turn a blind eye
and if that means I'll always be here
at the bottom
than so be it
