AmFey The Poet Poems

My wooden palisades, golden cornfields and chestnut mares
My bards and trumpeteers, they will ring and sing
Stomp their feet and blow their horns
For their lord's heart now belong to someone.

A thousand years you are my lover
A thousand years I am your fool
A thousand years I am the chaser
But two thousand years you're no where near.

A Lord In Love

My wooden palisades, golden cornfields and chestnut mares
My bards and trumpeteers, they will ring and sing
Stomp their feet and blow their horns
For their lord's heart now belong to someone.

The children jeer and fuss and diss
They run and kick and topple over
They run to their mothers and confess
For they saw a lady with grace that surpass.

A merry coat, fur of winter fox's
A feather fastened behind your ear
Rings and bangles, necklaces
From my fief all is for my dear.

Old and young, maids and footmen, beck and call
banquets, fireshows you can't ignore
From the summer to this year's fall
My lady you will have my love and more.
