Leaf through ages
Leaf through minds
Leaf through hearts
To find a drop of selfless love

Everyday the sun shines
Alike over men and beasts.
Then i see none too great
Or none too low to hide.

To the serene waters below
I but so small threw these whirls
Oh! The beauty and the terror it held
Spreading even as i sank to the

Walking forward to the sunset
The waves wipe my footprints
Sand is golden velvet soothing my sole
But inside i hide a sea of embers

Of all the shades and shapes
I found you the most interesting
Of all the gains and pains
I found you the most invested

I wanted to fly high in the sky.
Who clipped my wings?
I wanted to dive deep into the ocean.
Who cut my fins?

Why would i believe?
Why would i trust?
When u say i am

Time To Heal

Leaf through ages
Leaf through minds
Leaf through hearts
To find a drop of selfless love

In the mother's bosom
Or the lovers lap
In the firstborn's cry
Where can i find love without 'my'

Am tired and dazed inside
My bones grind and nerves fret
Where can i find the river
To hang my harp and weep

Am blessed, be told
My breath unhindered
My sight unabashed
It pains but i move, still

This ungrateful soul
Needs more, greeds more
when you give me meadows
I ask for fences and walls

Thus goes my search
From woods to pasteurs
And pastuers to town
From dusk to dawn

Am never at rest
In constant search
In crowd, in shrine
In drought and rain

Am chasing shadows
I know, i did not pause
To ponder the face of this quest,
To find my self back in love

Till this winter stopped me
Slapped me and its cold
Winds shook me and woke me
To see angels gleaming in sky

For, i was a fool caught
In the spider's web
Thought am climbing but no!
It was laid for me, only for me

And now at the day's end i see
love is kind, Love is patient,
I raided this world and all
In search of love, to be loved

When all i had to do is
Look at me and let go
For, to love is forgive
I forgive now myself and love
