Across The River

Across the river, clear and sure
My loved one walks away.
Into the arms of the God of Light,
My loved one left today.
My heart is broken, it is torn with grief,
But my loved one stands and shouts.
Before the throne of the Holy God,
Holy, Holy, art thou!
Rejoice through my tears, rejoice I pray,
My loved one has gone away.
But I stand on the promise of the Lord my God,
My loved one I will see one day!
