Lost and alone you just happend to pass, Not knowing why or how long it would last,

You took my hand as we walked away Letting me know that it was all okay,

I couldnt stay long it wasnt my time, but u showed me the diffrents between your life and mine. I look at thing's now with others eyes, Not holding no blame, or questioning why, You showed me the reason we all have to die, And the joy's and sadness in every tear we have cried, There's greater things out there then we all no, Some get to tell others before they must go.

Not knowing if we'll meet again or which way the winds will blow,

I hold onto the memories and never let them go.

It wont be death that i run from, When my time on earth is done,

The life i live has been a test, and soon it will be my time to rest.

Now not feeling so lost or alone, Thank you for showing me the next place i'll call
