Healed

The world turned
Yet it was still
A soul tattered by battles that no longer could feel
Shrouded in darkness, there was no escape
Wounded and cold the soul had given up faith
But then it broke through
A single shed of light, faith renewed
It embraced the soul and covered its wounds
Whispered in its ear I will support you
Now the soul stands, life renewed
Though the darkness is still there it now quakes in fear
As the soul and the light come together, no wounds insight
