Sparkles
Sparkles on the ceiling,
Remind her of a feeling,
Comfort and warmth, snuggled there in bed
Counting stars instead
Imagination churning
Legs burning
Thinking of the morning and all that it will bring
Makes that long gone young girl want to stop and sing
Eyes are getting heavy
Fighting really hard
To keep the dark from coming and interupting fun
Tomorrow is a new day and she looks forward to the sun!
