The days are but a blur
Rushing past and all I see are the colors
So beautiful and carefree and I want to take one to keep all to myself
but they
fly faster still
leaving me
behind
as they
enjoy the
sunshine
oh well, a smile will fix it as it fixes all else
a positive reminder to keep going
I say a lie
I'm fine it says
but I'm not and poof before I realize it
I'm a fink
lying
saying I'm fine
but I'm not
A pretty little lie
That's quite comfortable where it is
