as adolescence knocks her

Valentine Unmasked
Looking at the new Egypt,
she unmasks her veiled face
to feel free to breathe
in her sky infinite
where a human life
waits lovingly with her beloved
to cross the soil,
infinite and borderless.
And a procession of unmasked lamps, as if,
march on creating sparks of knowledge,
each one covering destined span of deliberation,
leaving life and death to change batons in between.
