Silence

Words have meanings,
Silence does not,
But silence I choose,
What's the excuse?

Words prick, hurt and pain,
Silence keeps me sane,
Words express imagination,
Silence has no confusion.

Words make noise,
Silence has no voice,
Words may lie, turn friends into foe,
My emotions, silence does not show

My silence tells my tale,
Through grief, it helps me sail.
