Beginning Again

It was night and you wanted Diana
I spoke of caves and bits of bone and leather
and we became the first ones all over again

and in the water we birthed and sang and swam and danced
as electrons do.

and when virtual became real it was more virtual than we knew
and we could not then name our space

So we made boundaries.
And they became our undoing.
And Diana moved on.

and we drowned in the water

and here is our domain.
It is all that is,
All that we could ever create;
It shall suffice for now.

This is ours. Meet me here.
so I can breathe; so Diana may live.
we owe her a safe place,
she shared her herbs and secrets for a while.
