For I Am Fighting The Good Fight

For I am fighting the good fight, but now It’s time to finish the course
For the battle’s already won, by faith I have overcome
There are many tests and trials that have oftentimes been sent my way
Now is the dawning of a majestic new day.

The time has come to start the move, to heaven’s bright fair land
How can you do that you ask – ah soon you’ll understand
For now’s the time to get busy –didn’t Jesus show us so?
It’s time to do the work of the master and then twill be time to go home

Its time to travel, time to fly, time to carry the gospel
The Good News I’ll share, I’ll sing, I’ll speak, it’s the body that can’t be impaired
He’s given me a commission that cannot be imposed by Man,
For this is the time to take courage, this is the time to impact the land

Strength and courage, boldness and faith, these are my portions four
I will walk through strong, bold and tall every open door
The world it will, - it will listen, to the voice of God
This world it will listen as it’s proclaimed through the Land

So, I must now hurry, to do all that He commands
So now I must boldly go where His children will not take a stand
For like Isaiah and Jeremiah, I see Him and will go
For He has sent me forward to Him my whole life I owe.
