I have lived in Japan, Italy, Virginia, Florida, Colorado, and Texas although I only remember the last three. I'm married with two children a boy and a girl, I started writing poetry in Jr. High and stopped for a while but felt the need to start back up again recently. more »

My Bestie, My Friend

Your sorrow overwhelms me,
so I cry out for you.
Your pain becomes a part of me
I wish I knew what to do.

A sense of failure goes through me
That I can't hold you as you cry.
My failure tries to suffocate me
I feel a peice of me die.

Your pain is in my skin
the tears run through my veins.
Your sorrow fills my soul
as I try to breath again.

I can't be there for you
and that breaks my heart.
I hear you in dispair
and I hate that we are apart.

Love led you down a rocky path
it left you there in sorrow.
