Why Does Pain Exist?

Why do I have to feel this way
I shouldn't have this
when I shouldn't have you
How I wish it was just a dream
a nightmare that will be forgotten
by hours, days and nights
I just can't figure it out
it's bleeding internally
If only I could go back in time
I would rather choose not to know and meet you
