Life Of A Snowstorm
I had to go out and shovel the snow.
Forty-mile-an-hour gusts tearing through the streets
I came back inside with my cheeks aglow
Head down to the school and join all my meets
Not quite sure what we'll get due to the storm
But don't get me wrong, after school gets out
I will curl up on a couch to stay warm
I sit and hope that the storm will reroute
Hot chocolate, popcorn, throw on a movie
Hunker down on the couch have a chill day
This sounds like a pretty good day to me
I don't care what other people might say
Once the storm is finally completed
It's off to another week repeated.
