Broken Hearts

I love you. Merry christmas. Sorry it's broken.
you whisper in my ear.
A glass heart.
It represents us and is as fragile as i am
You broke both rather easily.
I had never given it to anyone before so it was without chip or crack.
Your heart was made of steel after all you had been through.
I didn't see similarities at the time,
but it was a foreboding sign.
Both so Fragile
and both broken by YOU
