'Sad Love'

I was sitting by the sea side,
Watching the distant sea waves
Dashing against the stable rock,
Just like the stones of sorrow
Dashed against my heart.
I was totally in the blue, when,
A warm hand touched me & said,
'I Love You Friend, don't cry,
for the sweetest dreams
take the longest to come true...'
I forgot all my sorrows,
& a smile came on my sad face;
I thought...
that, my dreams of loving you
had come true.
But Oh..!
Now there were no pretty warm hands;
& just the words rang in my heart,
that 'the sweetest dreams
take the longest to come true.'
