Dear God

I'm hurt but not hurting;
Because I'm numb.
I'm not full, and I thought I was empty;
But I'm still bring drained.
I'm not fine, neither am I breaking;
Because I'm broken.
You said, 'Ask, and you shall receive.'
So here I am, Lord.
You know me more than I do.
You know my troubles more than I do.
You know what's happening to me,
Even when I feel completely and utterly lost,
And I have no clue as to what's going on.
But You know me, and every fibre within me.
I do not ask of You to make things easier,
Neither do I ask of You to take it all away.
I do not ask you to give me all the riches,
Or to send someone in my place to do Your work.
But, Lord, all I ask of You
Is that You give me strength,
To withstand it all.
Give me the ability to do Your will.
Help me bear the pain,
And also help the others.
Help us to make things happen
According to Your will.
And finally Lord, give us the assurance
That you're by us through it all,
Through every step,
Through every thick and thin.
Dear God,
Help us not to falter,
And help us not to doubt.
Help us not to drift away,
And Lord, show us that You too will always stay.
