A Poem For Her.

I'm starting to like you more and more every day,
my name is what I long for you to say.
since I told you exactly what I feel,
do you believe what I'm saying is actually real?

Sometimes when I am alone I like to think,
why is it that the thought of you makes me shrink?
why does my body react in fright?
why do I crumble at your very sight?

Is there a possibility there could be something between you and me?
until the end of time, that we can actually be?
that we can find such comfort and safety in each other,
that we can actually be happy and not go on without each other?

These are the questions that I ponder in my mind,
they drive me crazy, but you help me unwind.
I know I was crazy to do what I wanted to do,
but I started a friendship when I confessed to you.

I thought it was better than keeping my feelings inside,
its a bad habit to keep them locked up, and have them hide.
I just couldn't hide my feelings anymore,
I was starting to hurt, until my feelings for you washed ashore.

I like you more than you could ever know,
but my worst fear is to have you go.
so in the end, just know that even if I'm just a friend,
I'll always be here for you until the very end.
