A sinful tread on empty streets

Such a pathetic reflection
Reflected by pitiful prose in pathetic connection.
The eyes so worn by hurt and pain
Ridding mind of sin by rain
Slowly eroding away.
(it was always her)
With touch and sway she went away
To eyes arise sweet mem'ries ablaze.
Of us and them now her and him
So all can see the reflection.
The ducts under eyes were no match for the mind
To douse the past in long loving last...of thine.
A seer's whisper dances near
A thought unthought but not forgot once rooted in the ear.
'What caused the reflection? '
So many years wept bountiful tears
Filling the water basin.
