Sometimes in summer it showers,
And poisons the young bamboo scarecrow hearts,
And all the sugar from thr summers fruits
Gets washed away to the nearest drying pond
...

We are all buried under the earth
Safe from the chill in the air high above
but we seem to have lost track somehow
We are trapped in this blinding darkness

Showers In Summer

Sometimes in summer it showers,
And poisons the young bamboo scarecrow hearts,
And all the sugar from thr summers fruits
Gets washed away to the nearest drying pond
And fills it with sweet little dreams!

Their tiny kaleidoscopic butterfly eyes find it hard
To find a hideout from the falling stars,
The rainbow sheds off its wings, when the water drops
And enters the empty garden on the lizard's yard
Sometimes in summer the skies decide to fall!

Termites tall forts falls down to shards.
And all the holes left by the buried souls fill at last,
The eggs die young, even before they could spot-
The path left by the older brooks erased by the brand new murk,
In summers when clouds show their wrath!

And a wave of relief resonates as the fever drops,
Through the rebelling dust, settling fast!
The thirsty trees heave a sigh loud to be heard
Unaware of the bitter rule that remains unsurpassed
The fever only pitches high when you are drenched and wet!

And sometimes there are tears when we smile,
Sometimes it does rain in the mid summer's heat,
And we sing in joy with the deceasing darkness
For the little mischief was played on us!
But only death dances when in summer it showers!
