april sheriff Biography

I have 2 children and at present i am a stay at home mum. I enjoy socialising and using the internet, i love animals and i am very emotional. I love reading and expression through writing but have to feel the emotion, usually for it to make sense. This first poem i have submitted is from when i was seeking advice from my middle sister regarding my relationship of 6 years, her advice was spot on and calmed me down, i wrote it to say thank you to her and she loved it. I have always written with ease from an early age and love literature x)

Sisters

To have someone to listen
and take your fears away
Can put you back on track and
help you on your way
Sometimes a shoulder to cry on
can be enough for some
for others the right words,
or even the truth in one
But to have you as my sister
and to know that you are there
makes me feel so lucky even
though i have to share.
