Concealing The Torment

They sit and recite;
In fear of abuse;
Drifting and failing;
Into a heart of darkness.
With perennial horrid despair;
They call out in pain;
Which resolves in a forgotten silence.
The only glitter of hope,
Is their escape of solitude.
