The Medley

A slow change in the forlorn sky,
Where mammoth of clouds swings by;
The gentle caress of evening breeze,
Deepest recess of the soul rendered to freeze.

A dull dusk lends its wavering arm,
Mellows my heart to take a new form;
A doubtful tree, shaking off its leaves,
The gloomy soil, sings the blues and grieves.

The lake and pond stand so still,
Have water, the sense to feel the chill?
So serene is the path ahead,
The unmown lawn become the perfect bed.

Then began the medley of Her orchestra,
Rumbling, roaring thunder, an intimidating extra;
Lit up was the sky with silent, shrieking bolts,
Torn up were the clouds, forbade eyes from visible jolts.

Masterpiece portrait shies away,
By Her eerie demeanor!
Tranquil piano shuns away,
By Her steely armor!

A relentless ruler, she reigns anything and all,
Dutifully bowed down, are we, until Her fall;
Blooming and withering as she pleases, is her norm,
Giving and taking is her play, Her Majesty's the Storm!
