Humm

Lonely as I sat in the garden
Thinking about you.
Flowers at this garden
Reminding me of you
I started a little humm.

Lonely as I sat there wondering,
Picturing how you move.
A fellow bird admired
He had never heard such tune.

Sweet little bird found an excuse
Looking at the flowers
It started its own tune.
And tune it tried to catch up with
The little Humm.

Birdie tried its best
Couldn’t find a tone.
So it wondered
How well I knew my song!

Following day came home the little birdie
Pleaded I lesson him my humm.
Amused I laughed and told
The little Birdie.
It’s not a song my friend
My humm is simply my love’s name!
