Lament Of A Sinner

I know I’m not perfect
But this story doesn’t make sense

Why put me through it at all
When you know I’m gonna fall

Why does it feel so weird
For you to see that this is real

Why must I sacrifice
When I know it’s not a worthy prize

Why let me carry on
When you’ve known it all along

I just wouldn’t survive
Without you to help me by

It’s not what it seems to be
This story of you and me

Not angels to obey
We’re bound to go astray

Arent you the shepherd that guides us all
Then why must you make us fall?
