There it stood, amongst faded thoughts
With no empathy for the forgiving,
There it waited, amongst heavy hearts,
In the absence of the ‘ever living.
...
There is but a story to be told
As all ears pay no attention
There is but a dream to be shared
As all hearts refuse to listen
...
What Never Happened
There it stood, amongst faded thoughts
With no empathy for the forgiving,
There it waited, amongst heavy hearts,
In the absence of the ‘ever living.
Situation; but a consequence of preceding actions,
The past forever frightening,
But who’s to deny the struggle for freedom,
When the future reacts to our current happenings.
But what of sighs that scream of weights,
Weights that burden mortal shoulders,
No ears will dare to listen,
As silence walks the ground stained with blood of fighting soldiers.
Fear not the days that have not come
For the brave are yet to rain
Let the ground tremble next time you walk
Let your efforts not be in vain
There are shadows in the brightest of days
& mountains that refuse permission to climb
But forgiveness is always better sought,
Then regretting what we never leave behind
