The Joys And Fears Of Our Time

Not a day goes by,
Nor a moment is wasted,
That all I can think of,
Are of those lips that I tasted,

The touch of her skin,
And the flow of her hair,
It drives me crazy,
And yet she is so ever fair.

Where ever I may be,
I can smell her sweet fragrance,
What ever I now wish to see,
Are just a glimpse of her with no one but me.

Such feelings are a wonder,
I yearn to tell with not a moment to spare,
Still I fear the absence,
But lose her I shall not dare.
