Hatered In The Soul

I see your face in the streets
I wonder why you never say hi when I do,
you walk away you’ll be the death of me someday.
I fake a smile, you ignore me is it so hard for you to again adore me?

Of course my weakened heart breaks every time
I see your beautiful face
I know you don’t love me,
I get it just promise you’ll be happy, and
I’ll accept it.
The blackened heart bled for you,
the blood dripping out of the open wound.
It bled for so long,
now the bandages overlap covering the wound of hatred.
