Bandon Sanglyne Poems

As i sat alone under a pine tree's shade;
my mind ran back to the forgotten time and place,
when young gamers, games invented;
under the trees, the garden as i remmembered.

She made me realise, life's not easy anymore.
She made me cry, saying goodbye.
On my knees i went down and pray,
why my God it has to be this way?

The Wonder Years

As i sat alone under a pine tree's shade;
my mind ran back to the forgotten time and place,
when young gamers, games invented;
under the trees, the garden as i remmembered.

Those days when life's full of fun;
no cares, no tears; little devils on the run.
The mondays, we hoped for school to get close,
for friday to come, how we wanted most.

Like little Imps so mischievious as we were,
mother's cane, we dreaded and fear.
Life's a never ending fairy tale back then;
still ignorant we were to the ways of men.

Those years were indeed diamonds in the sun,
so precious as they were, so precious they'll be;
i've left my mark like footprints in the sand,
like every kid that has gone before me.

As i look back now, to the days by,
a silent wish, that sometimes make me cry; for a chance to go back, to places where my childhood dreams started.

Growing up happens in a heart beat;
oneday you're in diapers, the next you're gone,
but its the childhood memories that lives on,
in the heart for a very long long time to come..
