With big, white, fluffy flakes on every side
Each and every one unique
Lying thick, where they fell, over trough and peak
Hidden beneath the carpet of white.
They will only be revealed when the icy blanket does weep
And its tears plummet downhill towards the sea, blue, welcoming and deep.
It will no longer bring a dull white silence to the land
But a stunning green, glorious and grand.
