Hey!

so i reach out to the world
with a few words off my mind.
so i could share that little bit of me with them,
i never had much, but these few words.
nothing worth the wealth of this world could give,
which is owned and shared by a few.
this little treasure i had,
i could pour it into their hearts and maybe make them feel me.
so my pain is theirs, and my joy is celebrated with them too.
this is what i have for the world.
it's nothing that will change their lives,
feed their empty bellies, heal their wounds, stop their
children from dying, wipe away others tears, or stop those wars
but that little that i care to share.
so 'hear', take it, and i hope it will satisfy your
the hunger your heart yearns for, nourish you
through your days of hunger, let you pause for a moment from the noise and chaos thats in your face daily.
