Benjamin O'Brien Poems

Don't waste your breathe on those who need not to be talked about,
They do not deserve open arms of welcome,
They will just break them, to serve the pain which actually, they deserve,
Twist my arm, because I can not see the truth,
...

My dreams are fading into the mist of your avengeful, unforgiving clouds,
They hide my feelings and crush them,
So easy, with so little effort,
You sorround my heart with your tentacles of hate,
...

Just How It Is

Don't waste your breathe on those who need not to be talked about,
They do not deserve open arms of welcome,
They will just break them, to serve the pain which actually, they deserve,
Twist my arm, because I can not see the truth,
Or is it lies which are causing a distressed barrier over my eyes,
Black and white is the horizon around,
No colour is portrayed in these eyes,
No understanding of people can affect me,
I believe the truth which is painted from my own lips,
The words splatter on the wall, my wall,
The house, decorated with words of belief,
None of God, religion or anything of existence,
I will not distribute invites for my house warming party,
As nobody I know deserves it,
The laughs put aside, I know of the consequences,
They will come with their loose tongues,
And they will rip your insides with their words,
Nothing but the essence of time can heal your broken wounds,
Them wounds caused by arrogant, yet subtle people,
They do not care, they are not aware of the tears they spill,
But the sufferers, drenched, drowning in shallow water,
Stop. Breathless I return, regurgitating your lies,
I Slam the door open, to a room full of snakes,
Mouths open, terror has struck the room like lightning,
It splits, and hits everyone in sight,
But it knows of me, it knows I am innocent,
I do not own a knife,
I am not a backstabber.
