I'm close behind you
Afraid to move because if I do
you might notice i'm getting closer
you might run

I'm so close behind you
I can smell your breathe
a mix of that turkey sandwich you ate for lunch today
and your saliva

I'm so close behind you
the perfume coming out of your mouth
may soon manipulate me
into making you notice,
notice me

But,
but what if you run?
You'll become another mountain
so far that it has no color
so far that it doesnt feel real

If you run?
run?
I dont want you to be another mountain
The past is different,
I think.
