People starving and people dying
People are always smiling
But never for the right reasons
People are always building
But never in the right places
Everywhere you talk there's someone listening
People laughing and people criticizing
But everywhere you are there's Jesus
He's bringing light and he's giving hope
He stays with you in your heart
He's always by your side
He's the reason I'm alive
So don't let the 'everywhere' become who you are
Because God is hope and he is here
