Oscar

Playing was fun,
Me and Oscar would run.
Nothing else to do,
For we were just two.

Day turned to cold night,
Only trucks gave the light,
My Oscar got out,
My god dad would shout.

Oscar wouldn’t stop,
The gate open wide.
Dad roared like a bear,
All heard inside.

The thunder of trucks,
All came to a halt.
My dad was just screaming,
Son! Its your fault.

My Oscar is gone,
I’m still full of pain.
My dad, he’s forgiven
Still saddened with shame.

The gate, well its locked,
Not used anymore!
We go in and out,
We use the back door.
