Billy Ramsell Comments

Magic Carpet - quite brilliant. Occasionally like a surfer who finds a giant wave I find the occasional remarkable poem. This is one which I have shared with my U3A poetry group.

Billy Ramsell was born in Cork in 1977 and educated at the North Monastery and UCC. He has published two collections with the Dedalus Press, ''Complicated Pleasures'' in 2007 and ''The Architect's Dream of Winter'' in 2013. He lives in Cork where he co-runs an educational publishing company.

Billy Ramsell was awarded the Ireland Chair of Poetry Bursary in 2013. His second collection is The Architect’s Dream of Winter (The Dedalus Press,2013) . He lives in Cork, Ireland.
